Another beautiful sunrise. Another beautiful morning. Another wonderful bike ride. A little chilly this morning while the waves were crashing upon the shore. Definitely has a bit of Fall in the air. The cool crisp air felt nice after yesterday’s humidity. Hoping the beautiful weather holds for us all day… as now I’m off to Day Two of ART IN THE GARDEN in Glenview. Come out & see us today!

Not many clouds for the sun to play with this morning. Quite the change from yesterday’s skyshow. Just clear skies with one or two random clouds floating through. Another beautiful day… another beautiful start to my day!

The sunrise was perfectly stunning this morning… but somehow the day got away from me. Too busy working & getting ready for this weekend’s art fair. But I finally found the time to post these perfect pictures… and I think it was well worth the wait!!! Perfect reflections of a perfect sunrise!

Another stunning sunrise morning. A pretty strong breeze made for a stiff headwind for the first half… and some crazy cool waves again! But then as the clouds moved, the sun rose & the colors continued to change… I had a swift tailwind all the way home!!!

Some days you just gotta pedal until there’s a sign… and this is one of my favorites! The paved bike path literally just stops here. Abruptly into grass. Not even a merge onto the street? Guess this is where I turn around & pedal home!!!

A splashtastic morning along the lakefront. A bit on the breezy side with waves crashing along the shoreline. A wonderful morning with cooler temps & far less humidity that the past week. So much fun watching the waves splashing… and trying to “catch” them in a photo at just the right moment. Timing is everything!!!

Another morning with a lot of clouds crossing the sky. It was quiet & breezy… and you can feel that the humidity level has gone down just a little. Still sticky… but there was a slight coolness in the air. Hoping the heatwave is breaking up… and that we might have nice weather for the holiday weekend.

Plenty of clouds & plenty of humidity… another morning during this mini-heatwave we’re currently in. Luckily, my sunrise ride is early enough that the sun has not heated everything up yet… but it will. Until then… this morning was gorgeous & I was more than sweaty!!! Another great morning.

Another stunning sunrise… another sweaty morning! The clouds were impressive again… the humidity was oppressive!!! You know it’s going to be a “warm” ride when it’s already hot & sticky even before the sun has started to shine though. Done before the temps flare up later today to dangerous levels. It did feel great to make it into the shower when I got home!!!

This morning was filled with clouds & humidity! The skyshow kept changing as the clouds moved through. Every few minutes the sky had changed… and allowed the sun to peek through sending reflections across the rippled water. So serene… meanwhile, I was a sweaty mess. Literally dripping with sweat!!!
