Fresh from the soda kiln… some new birdhouses in time for my next two art fairs. Just have to decide which ones are coming to ART IN THE GARDEN this weekend… and which ones will come ART IN THE BARN in two weeks??

Looks like Sarah’s purple hyacinth bean vine is almost ready to start blooming up in Minneapolis…. yes, I shared some seeds to spread the happiness! I love how the vine is “framing” her birdhouse so perfectly. Stamped & soda-fired for their fine-feathered friends. And the cutest pup Roscoe to “guard” their backyard too!

After another full day of Summer Camp, I’m back in my studio still glazing & wadding…
and still planning on loading the soda kiln tonight!!! Fingers crossed…

Looks like my combo “wedding & baby shower” gift was much appreciated… which I kinda expected for a purple pottery fan!!! Congratulations to Allison & Michael as they await the birth of their new baby any day now!!!

The leaves are green & the birds are chirping. Adam sent me these photos of my birdhouse hanging out in his yard. Apparently no one has taken up residence yet… but it still looks great out in his garden!!! And I’m loving that colorful flash of sunlight streaming through the trees. Thanks for sharing Adam!
