Took a little studio break to hop back on my bike and cool down with some lakefront breezes… and some early red, white & blue at Montrose Harbor.

Kicking off the day with a pile of wedged clay balls…
oh, what to make?… what to make?… why not start with “my favorites”???

A quick batch of soon-to-be-mug cylinders! You know how I LOVE making mugs!!!

After my first day of Summer Camp, and getting my bike tire fixed in like seven minutes, I decided to treat myself at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. I mean I still had time on my parking meter, right? So I went with a classic Brambleberry Crunch and my new favorite Pickled Mango. Sounds odd I know, but O-M-G!!!

So after four flat tires over the past couple weeks, I finally found the culprit. I had a small slice right through the tire… probably from some shattered glass I rode over. Huge thanks to the folks at Village Cycle Center in Old Town for getting back up & running in no time flat… all pun intended.

Last night in my adult Beginning Wheelthrowing class we tried two new flavors of OREOs! Of course the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie was yummy… but it was the Pistachio Thins that seemed to be a surprise hit. Although I’m still not entirely clear as to what “pistachio flavor” really is… and where it comes from? The nuts don’t taste like this?!!!

An assortment of wheat & seagrass in the morning fog for some amber waves of grain.

The Port Mahon pier may be a beautiful photo-op for me…

Another early morning ride, this time along the East Coast for a change of pace.
The pier at Port Mahon is a beautiful place to start the day.

But this one tonight was pretty darn AMAZING!!!
