Yummy treats at ART IN THE BARN… like this chocolate-on-chocolate
and then some more chocolate milk shake made with chocolate ice cream…
and then even more CHOCOLATE!!! Thank you Riverside Chocolate Factory!

Never too cold or rainy for ice cream… or chocolate. YUMMY!

Sweet success at ART IN THE BARN today. Not only did we send a lot of pots off
to their new homes… but we had lots of cookies too!!!

My Mom used to bake cookies for every art fair. But now that she’s gone, a couple people made cookies for me in her honor! Special thanks to my niece Taylor, painter Cheryl & potter Patty for the extra “sweet” tribute to my Mom.

Just a reminder that this weekend is ART IN THE BARN in Barrington.
My largest art fair with a DOUBLE BOOTH full of pottery!!!

And for those of you who might be scared-off by the weather…
I’m indoors as are the majority of the artists! So you can enjoy the day,
see some wonderful art and jump inside one of the Barns if the weather takes a turn!
Hope to see you this weekend!!!

A first glimpse of the newest member of THE GHOULS COLLECTION!!!
A limited-edition of forty in BATS to join the rest of the creepy characters!
Assorted color combinations each with a slightly different personality!

It took two electric kilns to get all of the Ghouls, Pumpkins & Jack-o’-Lanterns in to be fired.
Two kilns at the same time… so good to see these four letters TWICE!!!
A huge sigh of relief… can’t wait to crack them open to see the results!!!
And to pack everything up for ART IN THE BARN just in the nick of time!!!

The newest limited-edition Ghouls are almost ready… they’ve been assembled, underglazed and now glazed with a low-fire clear. Sure, it looks green… but it will turn clear after firing! Keep in mind there are only FORTY of each Ghoul… and when they all fly away, they’re gone forever!

Okay… so it’s been a CRAZY BUSY WEEK!!!
I started making the new Ghouls & Pumpkins on Saturday…
of course, my bad as I procrastinated.
.. but now they’re well on their way to the art fair this weekend. There have been a couple clues that I saw some of you caught along the way, but here’s the first glimpse of the newest limited-edition Ghoul headed your way!
