And for now it’s sitting on the side of my street…
waiting for my insurance company to get its act together. I did take tons of pictures…
and then covered it up… like protecting it from any rain is of importance at this point???

Upon further inspection… it only got WORSE!!!

Yes, this entire tree crashed directly on top of my car overnight Wednesday! SMASHED!!! Apparently the night before around 10:35pm… while I was still working on my taxes!!! The neighbors said they heard the crash… but it was already too late! So my day yesterday was completely ruined with this unforeseen situation. Luckily, no one was hurt… and in the big scheme of things, “it’s just a car.” But it is also a HUGE hassle, as I am now dealing with insurance, the City and not having a car for awhile?!

Not sure where this will go next… but I’m sure I’ll keep you posted either way… ‘cuz that’s what I do apparently… post everything here!!! And yes, in case you’re wondering… I altered the license plate numbers just to be safe!

So yesterday I came out to my car ready to go to the gym & then to work…
only to find THIS!!! Not a good look… especially when YOUR car is the blue one!!!

With almost an hour to spare!!!
This might be a new record for me!!!

Working towards another batch of ikebana vases for my upcoming art fairs!

On a full & dreary rainy morning… it’s nice to kick-off the day with a pop of Spring colors in the neighborhood! Beautiful azaleas blooming just around the corner!

Celebrating another Mugshot Monday with some of my newest “hybrid mugs” fresh from my recent soda firing. Hard to believe that art fair season starts in just over a month away… and these mugs will be coming with me!!! First up?… the Schaumburg Prairie Arts Festival in Memorial Day weekend.

Early morning sun after last night’s rain. Beautiful start…
with more clouds moving in for the rest of the day!

Spring is in the air… and we’re at the end of our “forsythia season” with most bushes petering-out. But I found a “protected” one this morning still in full bloom. So nice to see Nature’s colors again… other than the “gray & brown” of late Winter!

Another breezy morning along the lakefront. The clouds shrouded the early morning colors… with just a moment of pink clouds. Luckily, the clouds blew out of the way so we got a bit of sunrise glory in the end. And the ride home was great fun with a brisk tailwind!!!
