Trees are blooming… Spring is here! The temps are still a bit chilly,
but it’s nice having the flowers hang on just a wee bit longer!

Doing a little graphic design at home tonight while I’m “wheel-less”… just making a new postcard for ART IN THE GARDEN 2026. One of my favorite shows… just a group of artsy friends pulling together our own grassroots art fair. This will be our twelfth year… and it just keeps getting better! So mark your calendar for September 12th & 13th in Glenview, Illinois. C’mon by!

Been a little “busy”… but finally got around to stamping some textures
into the discs that will eventually become ikebana vases for my summer art fairs!

A simple splash of color this morning after last night’s storms.

We also discussed sprig molds… did a couple demos…
but everyone liked stamping more!!! They always do!!!

After some demos & instructions last night, my SURFACE DECORATION class
even made a bunch of stamps for themselves to play with after bisque firing.

After I shared my stories, photos & videos of “the wreckage”…
we finally got down for some SURFACE DECORATION last night with textural stamping.
I did a few demos… and it felt great to not think about my car for a couple hours!

After yesterday’s trial’s & tribulations, I had a little “escape” when I got to do a little stamping with my SURFACE DECORATION class last night.

Of course I had to ride my bike to get there!!!

And a little shimmering moment in the aftermath…
with the obviously rotten tree & chopped branches piled up on the curb.

I did appreciate a momentary mossy moment…
somehow now on the top of my car on the smashed roof rack?!!!

I do try to find the small moments as best I can…
