After a fantastic food-filled & game-filled Thanksgiving Day with my wonderful “adopted family” of friends… there wasn’t much left of my pumpkin cheesecake. Even the little ones liked it. So I guess it was a hit!!!

After a fantastic food-filled & game-filled Thanksgiving Day with my wonderful “adopted family” of friends… there wasn’t much left of my pumpkin cheesecake. Even the little ones liked it. So I guess it was a hit!!!

All ready for our Thanksgiving Feast!!!
My contribution for the best part of the meal… DESSERT!!!
I made a Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake with a gingersnap cookie crust!
Always fun to have a nice platter to present my dessert on… I hope everyone likes it?!!!

Just doing a little “slip trailing” with melted chocolate!!! Decorating my dessert contribution to today’s Thanksgiving feast. And I wanted a smaller circle to create the ring of dots around… so why not use a smaller bowl upside-down as the “stencil”???

Another wonderful gift that arrived during my Holiday Home Show… so many goodies thanks to loyal fans & friends that know me all too well. Thanks to Tracy for this holiday box of fun!!!

And then top it off… my friend Pam brought me these Gingerbread OREOs…
all the way from London!!!
I will say that Gingerbread OREOs are one of all-time favorite flavors.
Easily in the Top Five!!! Let’s hope this English version keeps it in the Top Five too!!!

And then later in the day…
Ashley brought me this yummy, fluffy OREO trifle in a handmade oval.
I have just two words… “Thanks!”… and “burp!”

So today was the first day of my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW… and it started out to be a very “sweet” day!!! Especially when some of your customers bring you treats… like these special “festive” OREOs which I’ve never even seen before?! Red & green filling layered between character-stamped cookies!

And oh, but wait there’s more… the red crème filling actually shoes through cookies in just the right places… I mean… who doesn’t want a red-frosting-nosed-reindeer?! Thanks Diane & Jim!

Last night in my Beginning Wheel class, we were celebrating the end of the Fall session with a potluck… as we like to do. The theme was “dips & the vehicle to get it into your mouth.” I made my friend Kelly’s favorite recipe “Texas Caviar”… and had just the perfect bowl to serve it in along with tortilla chips!

Last night in my Intermediate Wheel class, we celebrated the final class of our Fall session with a fun potluck & trading/stealing game. The category was handmade pie plates… with your potluck food baked inside! Needless to say… we had PLENTY of pie… and I was one happy camper with the palate of a four year old. No such thing as too many pies!!! Chocolate Cream, Spiced Pumpkin, Salted Caramel, Strawberry Cream & more. I made a Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Pie in my red stamped pie plate… which Claire won & took home along with the yummy leftovers!

Just finished doing a bit of quick garden work… a tiny clean-up before the bad weather hits tomorrow! Back porch plants safely tucked away in the basement… and I pulled off the last of my yellow cherry tomatoes before chopping down the plant. Kinda hoping a few more of these will ripen in a sunny window??!
