I have a stamped thick clay bowl pottery. It looks like its signed but can’t read it. It looks to me like water washed over the ink.
But on the pedestal it had a stamp holding the 2 ends of the clay around the bottom. It kinda looks like there is a “J” in it. But it also looks like a round circly flower stamp. The stamps in the bowl are bold and deep. Could look like a “M” or 2 “J”s or 2 “7”‘s end to end. There are other stamps that could look like letters or just squigglies???? I don’t know. But your bowl looked like the closest to what I see in my bowl.
If you email me back I can send pictures.
Thanks for your time.

Sorry. Not my bowl. None of mine have ever been signed with ink. My signature is always carved into the clay on the bottom. Plus, my signature is just “Gary.” So all of those extra letters you’re referring to are definitely not me. Keep searching…
