My friend Carla was walking through her neighborhood and saw one of my pots “out in the wild.” And she thought she needed to “capture” it and send it my way! So of course, I had to share… scratches, glares, reflections and all.

Okay, so it’s not just the beautiful jewelry in Sarah’s booth at ONE OF A KIND… she also has some beautiful white roses on the back table! If you stop by tomorrow, you can see them too!!! Booth #2118.

Had a fun day today hanging out with My Talented Friend Sarah Chapman at the ONE OF A KIND SHOW at the Merchandise Mart. She’s showing off her incredible metalsmithing skills this weekend in Booth #2118. She’ll be at it again tomorrow… and I’ll once again be hanging with her for the day. So this little garden guy is trying his best… a late bloomer on one of my iris plants? In December, what?! I hope this trooper makes it to his flowering fruition before the next cold-snap gets here!!!

It was a surprisingly warm morning today… with plenty of cloud-cover over the lake. We did get a stunning moment of sunrise splashing across the sky… but just for a couple minutes before heading behind the clouds. Welcome back to gray… hey, at least it was still warm outside!

Catherine, one of my pottery students, had been covering this Sarah Chapman necklace on her website. Just a couple days ago… it SOLD to someone else! Guess Catherine is going to need to find a new one at the ONE OF A KIND SHOW … this weekend at the Merchandise Mart Booth 2118.

My Talented Friend & amazing metalsmith Sarah Chapman is back in town this weekend and showing her artistry at the ONE OF A KIND SHOW. Starting tomorrow at the Merchandise Mart, the art fair continues through the weekend. Sarah is in Booth 2118… and I’ll be helping her there on Saturday & Sunday. Just spending a little “quality time” with my diamond grinding disc from DiamondCore Tools !!! Cleaning off a few drippy soda-fired. bottoms. Notice the mug bottom before & after… plus a few more to come!

Just put the grinding bat on the wheel, wet the disc, wet the pot, press… spin… grind… CLEAN!!! Thank you DiamondCore Tools for making this ugly task so much easier & smoother!!!
