Just pulling together “a few” more mugs for tomorrow’s PROCRASTINATOR’S POP-UP SHOP in my studio! I’ll have over a hundred mugs there to choose from for those last-minute names still on your holiday shopping list… or yourself! I’ll be in my studio from 10:00am-7:00pm if you want to stop by for a few mugs… the more you buy, the better the holiday deals!

As we’re quickly slipping towards Christmas, I figure there are plenty of last-minute shoppers out there… and everyone on your gift list can use a new handmade mug, right?! So I’ve been pulling together a LOT of my mugs for a quick PROCRASTINATOR’S POP-UP SALE this Thursday in my studio! Shop small. Shop handmade.

Thursday, December 23 from 10:00am-7:00pm.

Not only did Mary Foster and I have a nice “collaboration” chat, I also left her place with a tasty collection of homemade Christmas cookies!

She paints AND bakes cookies too!!!

Just dropped off two new soda-fired frames with my friend & painter Mary Foster… just finishing up one last Christmas collaboration commission before the holidays! We’ve done several “pottery & painting” collaboration pieces this year… and already discussing next year!

Considering some new options… and not to give anything away,
but I’ll give you two words… WOOD… CUT…. fingers crossed…

Last night, my Intermediate Wheel class did a festive Christmas Tree trading-stealing-exchange game to celebrate our final class of the session… and the HOLIDAYS! I came home with this sweet tree that Molly made… possibly the pointiest of all the trees in the lot… with groovy carvings & textures!

With a ton of dark clouds to start the day… there was a glimmer of hope & a little sunrise confidence that something good would come of it. Chilly & breezy to start, but eventually… a beautiful sunrise!!!

Still a good spiral, with a “few” less stamps… but that glaze running situation is kinda perfect! A little more “simple” than the fully-stamped platters. Yet still perfect for the holidays!

Looks like a “festive forest of fun” has popped up on the “show-off shelves” at Lillstreet! There’s been a lot of Christmas Trees sprouting up everywhere, as all the cool kids are making ’em!!! And I’m looking forward to my Intermediate Wheel class tomorrow night as we are doing a Christmas Tree trade for our final class!

While there was no real sunrise to speak of, I did get a nice morning show of splashing waves! Sure, it would have been nicer to have some sunrise color behind them, but hey… I’ll take a magical morning moment wherever I can find one!

There was a small chance for a nice sunrise, but the slight break in the clouds just wasn’t in the right place. Made the skyline look nice… but that’s about it.
