This week it’s wheel-throwing & handbuilding with 13-16 year olds!!!

Trying to squeeze in a little pre-Camp glazing of old class demo pieces. I knew this one was thin… as it was a bulged wall vase with crackled slip. And as I was throwing it, I was wondering to myself when it would be “too thin.”

Apparently this morning… as the glaze tongs went right through the pot!!!
Well that can’t be good…

Looks like Matthew has been making some yummy breakfast bowls up in Steven’s Point!

Sometimes bigger sunrises need bigger photos… even if it is mostly clouds!!!

Another hazy & serene Sunday morning… just pedaling along the lakefront with just a couple clouds to keep me company. Very still waters were perfect for the occasional sunrise reflection… which sadly, were mostly blocked by the clouds!

Another productive morning throwing more than ten new vase shapes before 10:00am!!!

Sorry no sunrise photos this morning… “someone” forgot to recharge the battery for the camera!!! Sheesh… rookie mistake!!!

Friday at Summer Camp… and this might not be the best way to start?! HA!!!
While refilling all of our colored slip containers… one of the plastic containers literally “exploded” & burst out the side while trying to put the lid back on. Luckily, I had some great “minions” to help us clean this up before they started painting their pots from the week! Just another day at camp…
