HOW TO PURCHASE SOME POTTERY

If you see something you would like to purchase, just send me a quick e-mail to gary@firewhenreadypottery.com – and I will mark it “SOLD” here on the blog… and delete the image & description once confirmed. Once I get your email, I will follow-up with more purchasing specifics… but it’s easy… you can pay in so many ways, and I ship it to you! Done. I’m trying to keep this very simple & easy for all of us!
Therefore, prices posted include packing & shipping within the contiguous US. If you live elsewhere, we would need to figure out the additional shipping fees. If you purchase multiple items, or live in Chicago, we may be able to work out a discount on the shipping costs as well.

Always my favorite thing to make. I love how every mug has its own personality & style. Making mugs requires a lot of steps in the process, but it’s a labor of love. All of my mugs are food-safe, dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe. And they come with a “guarantee” that they’ll make your morning coffee taste even better!
Many of the soda-fired mugs have dramatic flashing effects from the firing process, so I will show both sides of most mugs for comparison… with the “back-side” being shown in the inset box in the corner. And remember, prices posted include packing & shipping within the contiguous US.

From smaller bowls for cereal or ice cream, on up to larger serving bowls… or even a display bowls for your table! All of the bowls were thrown on the wheel, stamped and high-fired. So they are food-safe, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe… you can even bake in them if you want to! You just can’t go from a stone-cold frozen dish into an already hot oven. I’m also showing you the “side profile” in the little inset in the corner to kind of show you the curve, the angle, the feel… since you can’t really feel it?!
