Last night while I was soda firing, a few of these little cuties “sprouted” in my studio.
Still need a bit of underglaze colors and a firing before showing up next weekend
at ART IN THE BARN!!! Saturday, September 28th & Sunday, September 29th
on the grounds of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois.

So here’s the big ONLINE reveal… Werewolves fresh from the kiln
and going straight to Barrington for ART IN THE BARN.
The newest addition to The Ghouls Collection!

Some cute & clean, while others have obviously been “snacking” on something!!!
Each with its own personality! A limited edition of forty werewolves to mix & mingle
with all of the Ghouls who went before!!!

So here’s the Wolf Pack after firing… just one shelf full of crazy canis lupus!

So now the newest GHOULS are all underglazed and getting a sprayed-on top-coat of a low-fire clear glaze. Hoping that all of the painted colors will be brighter, saturated & whimsically colorful after firing!

The newest addition to THE GHOULS COLLECTION look so much more “ferocious” in color! Okay, so maybe still a bit fun & whimsical… but that’s just how I roll.

Playing with terra cotta trying to crank out some new Ghouls to add to the collection. There will only be forty in this batch… which also means I need to do a lot of underglaze painting to give these creepy canines some color! Coming together… gotta start underglazing!
