Another cold ride… starting the morning out with layers & a “feels like” temp just below 30-degrees! Low-flying clouds not so good for a clear sunrise… but good enough for some moody morning shots!

And since when did they start with a “feels like” temperature?… the thermometer says nothing… the actual temperature! Who is out there determining what it “feels” like???

It was quite crisp & cold this morning! As I headed-out on my bike, my weather app said it was a “feels like” temperature of 29-degrees!!! YIKES!!! Lots of layers for riding… and glad that I had brought my plants inside last night. Although I think we avoided our first frost… better safe than sorry!

Crisp & clear this morning. I had to pile on some layers as it was in the lower-forties as I head out the door for my morning ride. I’m not mentally ready for all of these layers so early in the season… I still want the warmth of Summer!!! Did I mention it was cold?!… long sleeves. jacket, gloves, hat under the helmet… the whole sh-bang!

Bigger sunrises… bigger photos… bigger… better… BEAUTFUL.

A very quick & sudden flat tire as I went from pavement to rocky-gravel… instantly FLAT!!! Which also threw me off a bit… so there “may be” a couple little scratches & “perhaps” a bruised left buttock. Nothing a little Neosporin can’t take care of. But if it’s going to happen.. and at some point it will… at least I had beautiful scenery to watch while I replaced the inner tube & fixed my flat tire!!! Then back on the road…

Another beautiful morning with plenty of clouds & plenty of color to go around! Started a bit dark, dreary. & windy.. but it sure made up for that with another amazing skyshow!
