And it looks like Ruth is enjoying some fresh blueberries… in her “appropriately designed” berry bowl! What a weird coincidence… I never really thought that THAT stamp with some blue colored slip would look that great with fresh blueberries!!! Who knew?!

Okay, so a lot of you have already been to my place for “My Holiday Home Show” and have seen, touched & loved my tiled wall installation. It’s a small wall between bedroom & bathroom with just under 3,000 handmade tiles on the wall…. 2,894 but who’s counting?! All stamped, textured & soda-fired. It took awhile to install, but I LOVE the final piece… especially with my hardwood accents & overhead track lighting for added drama & shadows!

Okay, now that that succulent diversion is completed,
back to the task at hand. Packing up some pottery pieces to ship out today… or maybe tomorrow if I trip upon another tangent today?! No promises.

While this happy wavy one has been replanted recently in a new stamped & soda-fired flowerpot… just finding more “diversions” from working on the REAL projects I “should be” tackling during this crazy time off!

So you know that skinny little area above your stove? Like that two-inches of “useless” space? Well, I am a firm believer of “more is more”… so I have a tendency to use every space with MORE!!! Gotta love a good collection! Like these little cutie-patooties lined up filling that useless above-stove area in my kitchen!!!

time for a little breakfast. Starting with some fresh Vitamin C!!!

Another productive studio night with a lot of stamping. The bowls were thrown (against my natural instinct) without a spiral… and you know how much I LOVE a good spiral!!! But these are going to become berry bowls, and I didn’t want the spiral to “get in the way” of the drainage holes I’ll be drilling through the bottom later.

So for now they’re all stamped and back under plastic for the night. I’ll tackle trimming the bottom to add a foot ring tomorrow… and then drainage holes after that. Once trimmed & drilled, then I’ll throw a batch of small plates to fit… drainage catch plates for the berry bowls!
