Also from yesterday’s Andersonville Farmer’s Market… some more beautiful dahlias looking for a nice handmade vase to call home! Like this double-handled, stamped & soda-fired oval vase. Handmade pottery makes the pretty flowers even prettier!
Textured “panel” made with a handroller from MKM Pottery Tools.

Over the weekend, Cindy got her first glimpse of my pottery in-person. As a recent social media follower… she’s only seen it virtually. Until Saturday… and now, her first mug will always be her favorite!

Lots of beautiful flowers! Looks like Taylor’s Mom is loving her new square soda-fired vase. Complete with flowers & leaves from her own garden!!! Thanks for sharing the photo Taylor… and say “Hi” to Mom!

Handmade pottery always makes the flowers look happier!!!

Handmade pottery always makes the flowers look better!!!

Another beautiful bouquet of farm-fresh dahlias from Vangie’s Farm… at yesterday’s Farmer’s Market in Andersonville. Such amazing colors & textures. I do love growing some dahlias in my garden… but they never get quite as amazing as these ones!!! Good thing I have plenty of vases ready to go whenever some new flowers come home with me!!!

Also coming to ART IN THE BARN this weekend… more pumpkins fresh from the soda kiln!!!

I got a fun surprise “shout-out” by the folks at MKM Pottery Tools. There I was just casually scrolling through my Insta Feed… and suddenly… “Hey, that mug looks familiar?!”… and it was one of mine! Just another one of my “hybrid mugs” that are both wheelthrown & handbuilt. The top part is a textured slab made with my favorite carved handrollers from MKM Pottery Tools! So many patterns, so many options… thanks again MKM!!!

Sometimes a blue vase just makes the blue hydrangeas even prettier! A stamped & soda-fired oval vase helps spread out the flowers so you can see more hydrangeas side-to-side!
