Carving up a few more porcelain sgraffito platters with my DiamondCore Tools! Clean lines, crisp edges and comfortable finger grips… which you may not think is important until you spend a full day carving platters!!!

More carving. More sgraffito.
Another porcelain platter “racing†its way towards next weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!!

Another sgraffito platter carved while firing the kiln today!

It was a very productive day today while firing…
cleaning, glazing, carving with my DiamondCore Tools… oh yeah, and firing too!!!

While I’m “trapped” at the studio firing all day, I figure it’s a great chance to start some carving… with my favorite DiamondCore Tools!!! Making a last-minute batch of carved porcelain sgraffito bowls & platters. If my calendar is correct… they will make it out of the glaze kiln just in time for next week’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!!

One last batch… hoping to hurry them through so they’re carved & glazed
by next weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!! Work in progress…

Playing at the studio today… soaking up some “free†air conditioning!!!
And carving some sgraffito pieces with the help of my favorite DiamondCore Tools.
Enjoying how this stack works together… a carved bowl on top of a sgraffito plate!

Always fun to see where your pottery goes off to… like this pair of porcelain sgraffito platters that found their way into this beautiful home in Indiana! Hope you love them Marilynn!
