Lots of tricks & lots of treats. Happy Halloween everybody!!!

I have the “sweetest” students… especially when they make sweet sugar cookies for class!!!
And the fact that they were Halloween pumpkins made them even SWEETER!!!
Thanks Dan for sharing the sugar!!!

My friend Chris sent me a photo of her Halloween GHOULS COLLECTION.
She appears to be missing a couple of my ghoulish characters!!!
Not quite sure how THAT happened… but…

POP QUIZ!!! :
Who can tell me which ones she’s missing?
And yes, it is more than one!!!
Fall is in the air… even though tonight it feels a bit more like Winter!!!
And it’s always fun to see people using my pottery in their homes…
especially to dress up their table with some candles, acorns and a stamped red platter
by you know who! A beautiful combination.

What better way to celebrate the Fourth Of July than along the Main Street of America?! Annual fun down in Chenoa, Illinois with great friends, kids, corn dogs, cotton candy, and some of the best fireworks ever! In fact, apparently NBC5 chose Chenoa this year as one of their top places to see fireworks in Illinois!!! And they’re right!!!

Celebrating the Fourth of July with some festive florals.
Putting them together for a little red, white & blue!!! A bit of Mother Nature’s palette
with geraniums, Queen Anne’s lace and chickory!

Last night in pottery class on July 3rd, we celebrated the Fourth a day early with FIREWORK OREOs… and in between the cookies, my students also managed to trim cylinders and make a few mugs as well.

Good to see I’m NOT the only one celebrating today!
My friend Allison started her day showing off her little “Donut Day Party”
on Instagram… and I’m sure her coffee never tasted better!!!
Thanks for sharing Allison… the photo that is!
Next time, maybe think about sharing the donuts too???

It would be somewhat wrong & unpatriotic for me NOT to celebrate a national holiday, right???
It’s NATIONAL DONUT DAY!!! So I did… with sprinkles!!! Good thing I pedaled this morning!
