Another beautiful flower in the garden this morning. These are always the first irises to bloom in my garden… shorter, smaller & sooner than the rest will be!

Another beautiful flower in the garden this morning. These are always the first irises to bloom in my garden… shorter, smaller & sooner than the rest will be!

More Spring flowers popping up… this time vibrant violets in the garden. Also, a little known fact – the state flower of Illinois… and New Jersey, Rhode Island & Wisconsin!!! Who knew…

After last night’s storms, it was nice to see these little blue flowers still blooming in my front yard… unscathed by the rain! I “think” they’re Virginia Bluebells… I now have a couple plants & no recollection of ever planting them???

Cute little flowers in a cute little vase!
And don’t forget… tiny vases “need” tiny stamps!!! Thanks for sharing Kristy!

More beautiful Spring flowers… a little brightness on a dull & dreary gray day!

More Spring colors along my ride this morning…
beautiful red crabapple blossoms along the lakefront trail.

Looks like the dandelions are extra happy today as it’s warming up…
and it looks like they brought their friends!!!

Kicking off a beautiful Spring morning with a vase full of aromatic lilac blooms.
Such a shame that these beauties are so short-lived… as are most Spring flowers!

Trees are blooming… Spring is here! The temps are still a bit chilly,
but it’s nice having the flowers hang on just a wee bit longer!
