My friend Kristen finally got around to decorating for the holiday… or maybe more for the “season”??? Either way, my pumpkins with her handmade carved flowerpot look pretty great together!!! Festive yet reserved… just like my friend Kristen!!!

Looks like my cousin Kim has some happy plants… especially that clover plant that’s thriving in a handmade & stamped flower pot!

Okay… so my pink Easter Cactus seems to be a little confused. It clearly missed its namesake holiday, but is finally happy & blooming in a handmade stamped & soda-fired flower pot. Almost a month late, but I’ll still take it!!!

Mental note to self… during an early-morning trimming session, don’t leave a stamped pot “unattended “ on the wheel. Because you might accidentally step on the pedal while you’re sitting down. And then bad things might happen.

Oh well, it’s just clay!

Another 10×10 challenge done! With the weather warming up, it’s gonna be time to start planting flowers everywhere. Which also makes it time for some terra cotta flowerpots! More than ten thrown before 10:00am!!!

Here’s a shot of my latest orchid to be re-blooming. People always ask what the secret is to get them to re-bloom… and my answer is almost always “neglect.” But then again… I also think it needs to be happy in a handmade stamped & soda-fired flower pot. Just sayin’… I mean, they asked.

There’s a lot going on in that little corner of my kitchen… but one of my new orchid plants from Hausermann’s seems to be loving it there! It gets some filtered light all day… with a burst of sunshine in the late afternoon. This orchid is beautiful… tall & statuesque with so many striking flowers in bloom! I think it has found it’s new home in my kitchen!!!

Another “floral surprise” today… my Thanksgiving Cactus has decided to bloom all over again?! This is the exact same cactus plant that was in full bloom for my Holiday Home Show back in November!!! Guess it got tired of just sitting around being green? Time to show off a bit!!! And again… I think it’s all about the handmade flower pot that keeps the plant happy. Just sayin’…

Look who decided to pop open & greet the day today! My first re-blooming orchid of the season! Hopefully a few more orchids will start blooming in the weeks to come. Always fun to have an old orchid re-bloom at home… I’m sure it’s the handmade flower pot that makes the difference!
