It’s Day Two of the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR!!! We had a little drizzly rain pass through earlier this morning. So now we’re hoping it’s just dry & cloudy for the rest of the show. C’mon out to Glenview to say hello… I’m in Booth 31 until 5:00pm!

Cloudy, windy & humid… a murky trifecta for a non-sunrise morning ride! The tailwind was great, but the ride back home was a little tougher. And for those that know our Chicago skyline… you might notice that there are some buildings “missing” due to the low-flying clouds!

And now back to the art fair… okay, with clouds, but hoping we miss the rain today!

A beautiful start to the weekend. Quiet rippled reflections with some wispy clouds in the sky. There was a dark band along the horizon which just delayed the “reveal” for awhile… but still worth the wait. And… does anyone else see an American flag in the early morning sunrise?… or is it just me???

And now… quick shower, breakfast & then off to the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR.

t’s finally here… this weekend in Glenview, Illinois… the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR!!! Two days of fun showing off my pottery & chatting with a bunch of pottery-loving fans! Hoping for good weather & good sales… and hoping you can come join us in the grassy grounds of Lyon School in Booth 31.

Lots of new pots from my recent soda kiln. It’s just rough figuring out which ones get to come with me to the art fair!!! My car only holds so many crates of pots. So I’m making some tough choices… not everyone gets to come out to play this weekend!!!

I set up my tent & shelves in Booth 31 this afternoon This evening I’m in the basement cleaning, pricing & packing pottery for this weekend’s GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR!!! Currently on mugs… but a lot more still to get to tonight!! Hoping to be all ready for this weekend soon!

This weekend in the north suburbs… the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR!!! Lots of talented artists filling the park to show off their handmade wares. I’ll be there with plenty of fresh pots looking for their new forever home! This Saturday & Sunday on the grassy grounds of Lyon School on the corner of Lake & Waukegan Roads.

I’m setting up my tent again this weekend… packed with plenty of pots… for the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR!!! On the grounds of Lyons School in Glenview, Illinois on the corner of Lake & Waukegan Roads. We’ll be there from 11:00am-5:00pm rain or shine… of course we’re all hoping for shine!!!

Okay… so entire POTTERY TOUR weekend was not perfect! Friday afternoon was not so great for me!!!

THIS happened on my drive out to Sandwich with all of my stuff!!!
On the entrance ramp from the Kennedy to 294 South…
on the side of the road by O’Hare!!! Fun, huh???

And realize … my car looks like this all packed up!!! And where is the spare tire???

Yep… you got it… UNDER ALL OF THAT!!!

So picture me on the side of the expressway unpacking my car… all over the side of the road… like a big garage sale!!! ugh. Luckily, I knew how to fix it… so I did my best. Passenger rear… so the side with the traffic flying by!!! And then packed it all back in!!!

However… who knew the real tire doesn’t fit in the same space as the spare tire?!!! So the only place it would fit was ON TOP with the other stuff?!!! Even more like the Beverly Hillbillies!!!

Not a good start. Luckily, Cory’s son Aidan took it to be fixed
on Saturday for me during the show!!!
