“Your colors are scrumptious.”

Sometimes it’s the little things that customers say that make you happy.
It’s not that my color palette is all that spectacular or colorful,
but something in the saturated, earthy, orangey, browny, fire-flashy,
dark jewel-tone family must have resonated with her. As it does to me to.
My condo is all the same colors! I enjoyed hearing her excitement!

And I love eavesdropping… hearing people chat about my work,
or caress a mug while carrying it, or getting all excited by the textures & patterns.
Makes me think I must be doing something right?!

I fell in love with “my” coffee mug when I saw it on the shelf in your booth at the Prairie Art Fair. The next day I was showing my friends what I purchased at the fair and the Fire When Ready mug was the hands down favorite. Comments ranged from: “beautiful”, to “stunning”, to “gorgeous”, to “what a work of art”! Even the coffee tastes better when drinking it from a work of art.
I’d say you’re definitely doing something right!

WOW CAROL – Thanks so much for the kind words. It was definitely not one of my better shows… no thanks to the “fantastic” weather we had last weekend! But hearing comments like this from customers who battled the elements & rain make it all worth while! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying your new mug – and that your friends like it too! It makes a rained-out art fair feel a whole lot better! So much so… that I think I need to post your comment on the blog for everyone to see. Thanks again… GARY
