Sweet little Santa’s chillin’ and ready to go… at LICKETY SPLIT!!!

Dear Santa…  one last request…
I woke up this morning and it looks like we might actually get a White Christmas?!
And I might need you to bring me a new sweater… like THIS one!!!

Counting down… just one more night before the night before Christmas! I know I still have a lot to get done… and I’m guessing I’m not alone out there! Still shopping, wrapping & packing… fa la la la la….

Time to prepare for the “Feats of Strength” and the “Airing of Grievances”!
And no tinsel… it’s just too distracting!!!

Retro candies & other sweet treats make the perfect stocking stuffers at LICKETY SPLIT.

Another chilly morning along the lakefront. Too many low-flying clouds to get a “real” sunrise… but we did get a couple great streaks & splashes along the way!

Still wrapping up some presents… and don’t you love when the box fits perfectly?!!!
Good thing I had pizza for dinner last night.

Oh, and by the way, if this gift turns out to be yours,
please act surprised when you open it!!!

We’re getting closer to the holidays…
still plenty of time for shopping, wrapping, packing, and “ornamenting.”

One of the many benefits of “shopping local” is a sweet handmade treat now & again… like this yummy “Eggnog Snap” from LICKETY SPLIT in my neighborhood. Frozen eggnog custard, caramel sauce & gingersnap cookies all blended together after a productive morning of Christmas shopping!

Another gray morning along the lake. A nice ride, but always questioning if that “shine” on the bike trail is frozen or just a puddle?! Pedal safe… and now I guess I should consider wrapping a few presents, huh???
