Last night in class with my Beginners, we did a fun “white elephant” trading-stealing-exchanging game with handmade mugs!!! I put in a stamped & soda-fired mug… and came home with Michael’s cool striped black mug… made with thin lines of tape as the “resist” for the glazing process to make sleek stripes!!! Nicely done Michael.

Celebrating another Mugshot Monday with a nice collection just hangin’ around waiting to be chosen for the day’s java journey!!! So fun to see my mugs showing up in other peoples kitchens!!!

Handles attached… mugs assembled! I’ll keep them under plastic overnight…
and then clean them up & add some accents of colored flashing slips
before I let them start drying!

Handles pulled & looped-over to stiffen up a bit. Getting ready to add these handles to another batch of mugs … as soon as they stop being so sticky & mushy.
