Around every corner as we strolled around the City after the HOT CHOCOLATE RUN.
For some added fun yesterday during the HOT CHOCOLATE RUN,
I set up a little Instagram Challenge for my Dad & Taylor!!!
Ten different categories that we each had to capture somewhere along the way!
Starting here with category #1 : ARCHITECTURE

It might always be The Oriental Theater to me?…
but still a gorgeous over-the-top theater now called The James M. Nederlander Theater.
To some people…

Sunny Sunday Skyline… up north and still frozen.
Enjoying the afternoon & cool architecture up at the Northwestern University Arts Circle!

While walking around the Frankfurt City Ring, we ran across this beautiful old church… but I was more intrigued by the surrounding walls, tombstones & columbarium. Many of them dating back a long, LONG time ago!!!

And while most of the buildings are more classical…
you’ve got to appreciate those that aren’t!!!

One of the most beautiful examples of old architecture in Frankfurt is the original Opera House. A beautiful building with great details & craftsmanship. Just one of the many sights along my journey touring around the City Ring.

I even met this adorable couple while taking pictures – and he showed me this great trick for shooting water reflection photos with the camera on my phone.

My final day in Frankfurt, and I got to spend the day exploring. No better way to see the sights, hear the sounds and smell the aromas. Loved seeing all of the great architecture throughout the City.

It’s always fun to see how a City comes to life and lights up at night.
Beautiful display at the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof train station.
I love when classic architecture gets a facelift with lighting to bring it to life.

Part of the fun of traveling abroad and letting yourself explore past the major tourist attractions is turning a corner and finding little gems like this. Go out…. explore… find the hidden treasures!
