Gary Jackson: Fire When Ready Pottery
A Chicago potter’s somewhat slanted view of clay & play
Categories: mugs

From a Facebook post by Tony, a former pottery student of mine…
“After all of these years, this beautiful mug designed and made by Gary Jackson, the best pottery teacher ever, gave up the ghost. I will miss him dearly! It’s been a liquid filled 9 years old friend, RIP!”

Followed by a Comment to Tony’s post by another former student of mine, Tracy…
“I agree with best pottery teacher ever. I also bet you could get a replacement.”

So sad to see that gravity has finally gotten hold of Tony’s mug.
And yes, Tracy is correct… broken mugs are easily replaced.
