Nothing says “Christmas” more than traditional colors on my new holiday mugs! So I’m busy painting colored slips on the top half, as well as accenting the stamped impressions to make them even more festive!!! MORE IS MORE!!!

Handles are finally attached… and my new holiday mugs are really coming together! The theme stamps worked well. Now I just need to add some colored slips… and then RUSH to get them all done in time for my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW on November 23rd & 24th! Giddy-up!

Another favorite task… pulling mug handles! A lot of potters shy away from pulling handles. But the more you make… the better they get. The better they get… the more fun they are to make. The more fun they are… the more mugs you’ll make!!!

My TRICK-OR-TREAT MUG SALE kicks-off tonight only on my Fire When Ready Pottery Facebook page! Packed with pumpkins! Just another bisque kiln getting ready for next weekend’s ART IN THE BARN! Plenty of new hybrid mugs & pumpkins of all sizes after my next soda kiln firing!

Last night in class, my Beginning Wheel students tackled trimming & pulling handles… making their first MUGS of the new session! Not too shabby for their second class, right???!
