Parts & pieces coming together… working on some new “collaboration” pieces for “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS.” Kinda loving how the underglazes are highlighting the textures made with some of my MKM Pottery Tools handrollers! Time to start glazing pretty soon! Just two more weeks until “4×4”!!!

Textured tiles now accented with colored slips & drying in a plastic grid to avoid warping! Can’t wait to fire these to see the colors pop… and quick… “4×4” is just two weeks away! Yikes!!!

There’s a little something new brewing in my studio… after a night of playing with textured rollers last night. I have a loose “plan” here… we’ll see how it comes together?! Hopefully well… and in time for the “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS” show the end of this month!!! Fingers crossed…

Sometimes the perfect holiday gift needs an extra special box to put it in? Or sometimes that special box IS the gift?!!! I’ve got some special soda-fired boxes ready for this weekend’s SECOND HOLIDAY HOME SHOW All lidded & ready to go… some with compartments inside too!!!

Now THAT’s a lot of stamps!!! Actually, the surface decoration was created with just one of my handmade clay stamps. Pressed into the rim one-by-one, by one, by one, by one… all the way around a couple times! Fresh out of the kiln… again with my new favorite glaze… at least for this week!!! HA!!!
