Beautiful sunrise ride this morning. A bit on the chilly side when the winds came blowing through the buildings from the west. Not a lot of clouds to play with this morning, but the sun found it’s way to glory anyway!

One more reason to hurry up and get this year over!!! OREO just announced a collaboration with Lady Gaga… with new pink & green cookies to celebrate her latest album “Chromatica.” They don’t come out until next year… so we just need to finally get though 2020 – luckily now we have something good to look forward to!!!

Just a little late afternoon lunch. Got distracted while packing up pots… almost forgot I had a Connie’s Frozen Pizza to bake. Made me smile using actual plates for pizza… so fancy… usually it’s just me sittin’ in front of the the TV with the pizza on the box it came in!!!

Another afternoon with the shipping boxes piling up on the back porch. Looks like it’s time for another trip to the Post Office! Me & postal clerk Chaundra are getting to be like “best buds” these days! It’s like we have a little standing date every afternoon!

Took a couple hours off this afternoon to enjoy the blue skies & sunshine with a nice stroll through Graceland Cemetery. It was my first time at Graceland, so it was nice to see some of the famous names from Chicago history now residing there… and a random coyote patrolling the park. You’ve got appreciate the serenity, the architecture, the design & majesty of some of the monuments & memorials.

All of the oil lamps are functional just by adding some smoke-free oil… and they would make a perfect holiday gift for friends, family or even yourself! Each oil lamp is approximately 4″ tall. Colorful & chilly… with a chance of frozen puddles!
It was a bit colder than I expected this morning… good & bad. Good to see some cool frozen bushes covered with icicles. Bad to see ICE already… I am so not ready for this!!! Had to be more careful of “puddles” along the trail… now slippery ice puddles!

And oh, by the way… “Dear Santa, I need much warmer gloves!!!”
