And once again… a sunrise skyshow this huge
needs a “huge-er” panoramic photo to show it off!!!

Another crazy-cool skyshow this morning!!! The humidity was a bit out of control… literally dripping with sweaty after just minutes of riding!!! But once your drenched… you can’t get “more’ drenched, right? And it was well worth it… as the sunrise was SPECTACULAR today!!!

And while the skyshow was happening over the lake, the City skyline
was punctuated with a few puffs of clouds easing through.

I couldn’t decide which panoramic photo was better… so here’s another one!
You choose…

And sometimes a bigger “skyshow” just calls for a BIGGER panoramic photo!!!

t was very “still” along the lakefront today. No waves. No wind. And not a lot of people out… as it was still quite warm & sweaty!!! But with a skyshow like this?… STUNNING in its simple serenity!

It was a very dark start for my morning ride. With a LOT of clouds covering the horizon… I was excited to se this little sliver of sunrise beauty when I made it over to the lakefront. I was kind of expecting “just clouds”… so this splash of color was a great moment with stunning reflections shimmering on the lake. And then the clouds moved in even more… welcome to my gray morning!

And then just when I thought is going to be “just gray” clouds for the rest of the morning, the sun finally made an appearance breaking through the cloud-cover. Just in time for some more shimmering reflections!

It was a rather warm & sweaty night in Chicago, not surprisingly followed by a warm & sweaty morning! I figured I could sweat at home in my non-air conditioned condo, or go out for a ride along the lake. I was gonna be sweaty either way!!! And look how beautiful it was outside… the better choice!

Wispy clouds & shimmering harbor reflections. Another quiet sunrise bike ride along the lakefront before Summer Camp. Always the best way to start my day!
