Last night in class we tried the newest flavor… well, kinda… the bag says it’s “Back By Popular Demand.” Anyway… pretty tasty if you can get past the overly saturated navy blue color of the filling??? We all thought they tasted kinda like PopTarts… and that’s not a bad thing!!!

Thanks to Kathy for finding these new… errr, I mean “blue” taste treats!!!

We had them last week & again last night in my pottery classes.
Mixed reviews… but my first snarky comment was
“Who is she?… and why does she get a special OREO?”

Generally we liked them, but I kinda felt I was done after two or three.
So I’d say in a battle of “celebrity OREOs”… I’m going with Post Malone for the win!!!

So after a winning night of BINGO outing the ‘burbs, my sister suggested a new place for treats afterwards. It’s all about crepes & waffles smothered in melted chocolate. So of course I quickly said “Yes please!” I got a waffle topped with brownie pieces smothered in three chocolates… and a side of chocolate gelato to wash it down. Now I don’t think I’ve EVER said this before… but it might have been too much chocolate?! Thick, goopy & yummy… but a LOT. It might have been better to share it with someone?! I mean, let’s not get crazy… I did clean the plate… and I might have to go again just to confirm my initial evaluation?!

And you gotta love when one of your favorite “fans” brings a little sumthin’-sumthin’ to the art fair just for you!!! So sweet of Melissa to bring me a bunch of yummy bakery cookies … we’ll just call them “lunch.”

Healthy greens in stamped greens! Thanks to my friend Sarah for making this yummy salad last weekend… and serving it in one of my glazed serving bowls. Ever notice how handmade pottery can even make “healthy” food look better?! HA!!!

This week in my classes we taste-tested the newest OREO flavor… Chocolate Covered Pretzel !!! And we were all pleasantly surprised… the cookie actually tastes a bit like a pretzel… complete with a hint of salt!!! And the chocolate filling?… yummy as always!!!

Last night in class, one of my students returned from a trip Ireland… with yummy souvenirs in tow!!! Even better when I referred to them with my terrible leprechaun impression!

We also found farm fresh eggs on the side of the road… payment on the honor system!!! And with the way eggs have been so crazy lately… I gladly left my money in the box and grabbed a dozen eggs!!!

And while many of us… ME… are still working on our taxes…
it looks like Pam has been busy in the kitchen! And then sharing her “Salted Caramel Chocolate Oreo Pie.” It sure sounds good… I like every word in the title!!! And it looks pretty darn tasty in a handmade & stamped pie plate too!

You gotta love when a surprise “care package” arrives in the mail… this time from my friend Tracy! Who may have seen “somewhere” that I have a thing for OREO’s?! So when she recently went to France, she brought back a box of French OREOs for me. I can’t quite read the ingredients list or the nutritional information… but I’m just assuming that I don’t “want” to see that anyway!

It is good to see there is some protein in OREO’s though!!!
