Clouded reflections with just a few fleeting moments of sunrise peeking through… before disappearing behind the clouds again. Luckily for us, the clouds moved out later in the day and we had a beautiful day. Perfect for the first day of October!!!

Another morning with gusty winds, crashing waves & plenty of clouds!!! I thought there might be a good potential sunrise in there somewhere… hoping for some fun colors… but the clouds just weren’t playing along!!! Their timing was off & the dark grayness won out. The first half of my ride was great fun with a strong tailwind… the ride back, not so much! Head down, tucked into aero-bars & pedal on!!!

Now for a quick shower & back out to Barrington for Day Two of ART IN THE BARN!!!

Lots of clouds & lots of crashing waves!!! It seemed like the wind was coming from all directions?! It was a tough ride… seemingly with a headwind all the time?! We had some great colors to kick it off, but when the clouds took over the grayness… the waves were there to make it all worthwhile!!!

Kicking off the first day of Fall… with a cloudy morning bike ride. Lots of clouds with lots of sunrise potential. Or so I thought? We started with a good splash of color low on the horizon. But then the clouds took over & the color dissipated to total grayness. And now we’re supposed to get light rain all day… which is fine because we really need it! I can almost hear my plants breathing a collective sign of relief!!!

Looks like another beautiful day for the last day of Summer! Clear skies, calm waters & sparkling reflections. A little warm & humid… another sweaty ride… perfectly Summery!

We finally got some clouds… a splash of color early on before the clouds took over! After several days of clear skies, I was happy to see a bit of “drama” on the horizon this morning. Clear skies are fine, but I enjoy a good clouded sunrise so much more!!!

Another quiet morning… warm with just a little wisp of a cloud flying low on the horizon.

With a bit of “wildfire” haze & a low-flying “marine layer” the sunrise changed colors nicely this morning… but the actual sunrise was delayed for quite awhile. And I was already home by then… mwah, mwah, mwah…

As the sunrise time keeps getting later & later… it seems like my morning ride just keeps getting darker & darker?! With a lot of darkness for the first half of my ride… and hopefully a good sunrise at the end of my daily route.

Another warm morning for a beautiful Friday the 13th… nothing to be scared of here!!!
Plenty of clouds with plenty of color. Just how I like it… colorful & dramatic!
