Beautiful colors & wonderful textures… perfect for Texture Tuesday!

While some of these Ghouls are classics… they’re also Limited Editions! So there are no more Mummies, Frankensteins or Witches. Pumpkins will be around for years to come… and tomorrow night I’ll be selling off some of the “newer” Ghouls only on my Facebook pottery page with my “GHOULS & PUMPKINS SALE.” If you’re looking to start your collection, or add a few more characters to your Ghouls Collection, there will be Scarecrows from this year, plus Werewolves, Vampire Bats, Pirates, Little Red Devils & a few different Pumpkins! Some are more “limited” than others… like the Werewolves as there are only TWO of them left!!!

Prepping to make some mug handles… a little reminiscent of Stonehenge… err, Clay Henge???

Handles attached… mugs assembled!!! Now just a little cleaning-up, a little smoothing… and then some drying, firing, glazing & firing again! Coming along… but still a lot of steps in the process!

Especially when you’re trimming with DiamondCore Tools that create these wonderful ribbons of leather-hard clay! Of course it helps when you’re pairing good tools with the Giffin Grip for quicker centering & stability while trimming! The perfect combo of my favorite pottery tools!

Time to trim some cylinders… well on their way to becoming a new batch of mugs. Using some of my DiamondCore Tools for smooth & clean trimming!

Looks like Diane has finally moved into her new place… lots of boxes & lots of paper… and unwrapping her pottery collection first thing!!! Perfect timing for another Mugshot Monday!

The Ghouls are popping up everywhere! Another set making their spooky debut at Tracy’s place! She’s got a pretty-sweet collection… and I’m loving them on the grassy-raffia base!

While the HAMILTON stage is pretty amazing, what with the set, lighting & rotating stage… but the theater itself is pretty SPECTACULAR too!!! I’m always amazed by the architectural grandeur of the classic Chicago theater palaces. Last night we were in the Nederlander Theater which gets me every time!!! Crazy cool architecture & craftsmanship like they just don’t make any more!

After dinner last night… THIS HAPPENED!!!

And yes, it was so exciting to finally be “in the room where it happened.” Such an amazing show!!! So well-crafted, such amazing wordplay, incredible choreography & talented performances!!! Such an amazing way to continue celebrating BIRTHDAY WEEK with my co-birthday buddy Nancy!!!
