Just finished adding all of my handles… score, slip, attach… voila’… MORE MUGS!!! Perfect timing for another Mugshot Monday… and perfect timing since I got them done before going down to teach class again tonight!

Okay, I get it. Summer’s over! You don’t have to beat me over the head with it. But starting out this morning with temps in the upper 30’s seemed to seal the deal! Layers. Layers. Layers. Too soon for my liking & biking!

It was the first weekend of October… and a perfect chance to pull out the Halloween Decorations! My friend Chris pulled out all the stops & all the lights… decorating the front of her house in festive spooky glory. Including some huge spiders on her ceramic totem pole!!!

I think I need to go trick-or-treating at HER house this year!

So does it mean anything when you come home and find a large moth flying around inside your condo?! Sure, the weather has gotten cold… so who wouldn’t want to come inside somewhere warm. I get it. Sadly, he’s been ushered back outside into the cold… and my sweaters are already thanking me.

Spending some time tonight trimming again… and you know how much I love trimming. It gets me one step closer to adding handles on these mugs… even more “fun” with my DiamondCore Tools Trimming Tools.

Okay, so you know how much I love a good coleus plant… the colors, the textures, the shapes! But these might be the HUGEST coleus plants I’ve ever seen… and this is just gonna kill my gardening pals in Peoria!!! Challenge on Rosene & Gerry… here’s your “goal” for next summer’s crop of coleus!!! Step it up my friends!!!

My friend Julie has been making yummy caramel apples! Melt, dip, cool… some get bubbles… and she pointed out the “similarity” to my pumpkins with warts!!! I see it… TOO FUNNY!!!
