Okay, so this may have dropped a few days ago… but I had a lot of pots to glaze, a soda kiln to fire & taxes to do. But now that all three of those tasks are done… the “reward” will be coming soon! I can’t wait to binge the newest season of THE GREAT POTTERY THROW DOWN on HBO Max!!! No spoilers, please…

So excited to see that the new cast of the next GREAT POTTERY THROWDOWN has been announced… as the new season begins airing tonight in the UK. Unfortunately, we need to wait for awhile to see it here in the US.

Can’t wait that long?… there are still a few spots open in my upcoming pottery class at Lillstreet Art Center… THE GREAT LILLSTREET THROWDOWN. This will be “Season Four” for our own version of challenges, contests & projects! If you’re in the Chicago area, sign-up soon to be part of the fun starting on Thursday, January 13th!

VERY EXCITING!!!
Except I don’t have Channel 4…
and I’m not in the United Kingdom…
so I don’t get to watch tonight!!!
We Americans need to wait for it to come “across the pond”
for us to watch on HBO Max… soon I hope?!

Today is the day to celebrate “Festivus” with all of the traditional rituals… which include an unadorned aluminum pole instead of a decorated tree, the “Airing of Grievances” which is an opportunity to tell others how they have disappointed you in the past year, followed by a Festivus dinner, and then completed by the “Feats of Strength” where the head of the household must be pinned. Sounds like fun, huh?!

So funny… watching a cake decorating contest show on The Food Network… and they just used a Brent Potter’s Wheel as the turntable for a piece of their cake showpiece! Brilliant… apparently not just for clay any more!

Well, last night was the big finale of SURVIVOR 41…
so much fun & congrats to the Big Winner… no spoilers here!
And now it appears as though I can try to do a “tribal merge” of my love for SURVIVOR with my never-ending quest for the perfect Ugly Christmas Sweater!!!

For those of you who still remember when MTV played MUSIC VIDEOS!!!… and not just a lot of bad reality shows! I know I’m showing my age here… but I remember when MTV was a big deal for us! So new. So fresh. So much fun. Remember what a “big deal” it was when “Thriller” came out?… we were all riveted & still get a little sentimental when it shows up again!!!
So here’s a question… What’s YOUR favorite music video???

And I think we’ve all waited long enough. Like a deserted tropical island wouldn’t have been the best location to shelter-in-place through the pandemic?! They could have filmed several seasons by now… bring it on Jeff Probst!!!
