Okay, so not so much of a sunrise as a dark clouded morning! Gloomy cloud-cover sweeping through the City, strong winds blowing in off the Lake… and crazy cool waves splashing all around!!!

And let’s just say…
my weather app said nothing about RAIN this morning?!!!
It was wrong!!!

Big sky. Big clouds. Big photo.

Colorful calico clouds crossed the sky this morning. We went through a couple different colors as the sun came up, and eventually decided to hang out behind the clouds! Dark & moody… pastoral pastels… vibrant colors… golden hues… and then just CLOUDS!!!

Another quiet morning along the lakefront.
Not a lot of clouds… but the few we had did a wonderful job of making a sunrise splash of color!!!

Barely a cloud in the sky… just a cool breeze blowing in off the lake along with the waves. A beautifully quiet start to another week.

Uh oh… well THAT doesn’t look so good…

Dark calico colored clouds this morning made for a dramatic bike ride. Still warm & humid without much a breeze. I will say I kinda had low expectations for today’s sunrise… but I was proven wrong. It turned out to be STUNNING!!!… especially after a long run of cloud-free mornings!

Roll out the lazy, hazy, crazy days of Summer! A bit of early morning haze on the horizon… that luckily burned off soon enough to reveal a beautiful orange sunrise as the heat wave continues today!

Quiet & still. Warm & humid. Clear skies…
except for that one cloud to play with. So subtle. So serene. So beautiful.

Another beautiful bike ride along the lakefront. With a few waves rolling in, and a few cool cloud formations wafting through. We had several good “moments” along the way… a couple great photo moments!!!
