We’ve had a lot of low-flying horizon clouds this week. Delays the sunrise a bit,
but each day there seems to be a reward in store for the waiting.

With views like these it’s still the best way to start my days!

With just a sliver of a crescent moon, this morning was pretty calm, quiet & cloud-free…. just a few early on, followed by clear skies for the rest of the day!

Low flying clouds delayed the sunrise… blocking it a bit…
but creating some cool sunrise effects along the way!

A great way to kick off the weekend. The heatwave seems to have ended & there way less humidity this morning. By comparison, almost a bit chilly this morning. I’ll take it.

Another early morning ride, this time along the East Coast for a change of pace.
The pier at Port Mahon is a beautiful place to start the day.

A little bit cloudy. A little bit hazy. Yet still enough to create some beautiful sunrise colors. I really enjoy when you can see the sun come up… and see the ENTIRE sun perimeter because it’s shrouded a bit by clouds. Pretty cool.

Some sunrise drama this morning as heavy clouds were sweeping through Chicago…. which also meant gusty winds, but I’m okay with that. We had some beautiful colors for a few brief moments before the clouds took over and covered the sky.

And then gone… swept away into the clouds…
