Getting ready to make some mug handles on this early Sunday morning!

Trying to make a good impression… by doing a bit of stamping on these “soon-to-be-mugs” before going down to teach class tonight.

Making more mugs, replenishing the inventory…
you know I LOVE making mugs, and I also like to kick-off my Holiday Home Show
with over a hundred mugs!!! Gotta make more…

New mugs fresh outta the kiln… well, kinda…
I just realized that I never quite posted photos out of my recent soda kiln.
Everything looked good… including this trio!

Special thanks to my Dad & niece Taylor who helped out all weekend in my art fair booth. So much easier, and so much more fun, having people there to help with chatting, restocking, selling, wrapping… and for eating all of the chocolate chip cookies… and for taking cool pictures like this one by Taylor!

Moving into mugs…
still glazing, still wiping, still wadding…

So the bisque is LITERALLY piling up in my studio… gotta get my glaze on!
… starting with a LOT of mugs!!!

Just “a few” more mugs for the kiln…
hoping to have them all ready for ART IN THE BARN on September 28th & 29th.
You know they’re my favorite thing to make…
which is perfect for another Mugshot Monday!

Finishing up some last-minute mugs for another Mugshot Monday! Adding some colored flashing slip accents… and then “speed-drying” them somehow so they can get bisqued, glazed and loaded into the soda kiln this weekend! Fingers crossed!

And now it looks like I have some more trimming to do… a LOT of trimming…
but that’s the easy part. For after trimming… comes handles!!!
