And a special THANK YOU to my Throwdown’ers… who gave a me a special THANK YOU GIFT at the end of class this week. A wonderful OREO cookie tin filled with fudge-covered OREOs oddly emblazoned with my face & a lot of sprinkles!!! Too funny… as they all know my affection for the OREO cookie! But it was a weird sort of “cookie cannibalism” as I ate the first one… HA!!!

Another great holiday… March 14th… 3/14… 3.14… it’s NATIONAL PI DAY!!!
And you know how I love to celebrate the holidays… even though I’ve never been good at math!!!

I mean… who doesn’t want chocolate cookies with colorful FROSTING?!!!
Especially from our pals at OREO who have pulled out all the stops & all the food coloring!!!
Although I will say… we all kinda missed the special Space Dunk Pop-Rocks in pottery class!!!

You know how much I LOVE a good National Holiday! Especially when it’s one of my favorites. Today is NATIONAL OREO DAY! Too hard to choose one… so I had to “celebrate “ with three flavors!!! Aww, shucks!

Looks like it’s Cookie Time at “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS.” Sweet treats to make us all very smiley! Thanks to our friend Nicole for bringing us some yummy goodies from Tag’s Bakery in Evanston.

Just got home from teaching class… and it’s never too late to celebrate! As today is also NATIONAL CHERRY PIE DAY!!! And I’m ready to have a slice of the fun!!!

Just a little afternoon snack celebrating NATIONAL MUFFIN DAY.
You know how I love a good holiday!!!

Last week our snacks were “outta this world” as I shared the new limited edition SPACE DUNK OREOS with all of my pottery classes… and the soda-firing workshop too!!! The cookies are very brightly colored, with some snapping PopRocks mixed in. Overall… good reviews & empty packages at the end of every class!!! But then again… why do the packages just keep getting smaller & smaller??? Do they think we don’t notice?!

And sure, kiln loading can be a long-drawn out process… but it always helps when there are good snacks! Special THANKS to Martin for baking us some amazing Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies with a sprinkle of sea salt on top!!! Amazing as always Martin!
