Looks like I wasn’t the only one “salivating” over our pizza party last night! Here’s Roscoe up in Minneapolis looking like he’s ready for some pizza too! Good boy!!! Thanks for sharing your puppy & pizza Sarah & Jules!

While we’re no longer supposed to have snacks in our pottery classes… one of my students couldn’t help feeding my “addiction” with GINGERBREAD OREO’s!!! I’m trying not to think about the post-holiday timing on these, cause they sure were yummy! But in our defense… individual serving packets that people took home with them. Still no eating in classes with all of our covid-restrictions! Whew… we skirted around that one.

Thanks Kate for the sweet treat!!!

Looks like it’s another Sundae Funday Sunday!!! Yummy chocolate ice cream in “lickable” stamped & glazed bowls! Thanks for sharing Kristy & Matt… now I want ice cream too!!! Great.

So this happened in the studio tonight…
a little bit of CHROMATICA with Lady Gaga OREO’s!!!

Kinda fun… but a little weird if I must say. They’re not a strange flavor, just strange colors… kind of flamingo-pink cookies with an oddly kelly green creme filling??? Pretty much the basic golden-vanilla flavor, yet a bit “thicker & crunchier” than normal OREOs??? I think I expected a little more from these “Little Monsters”!!!

But they did remind me of another great Carpool Karaoke with James Corden & Lady Gaga! Watch the YouTube video for a little Friday Night Dance Party… while driving in a van?!

Looks like Kristy & Matt had a special Valentine’s Day last weekend… celebrating with sweet treats and some sweet pottery! Thanks for sharing your special day with all of us!

Following up with a little post-shovel “warm-me-up” cup of hot chocolate… complete with the requisite JUMBO MARSHMALLOW!!!

See?… I knew I liked shoveling for some strange reason!!!

More snow means more shoveling… which also means more hot chocolate!!! Which is really just the “vehicle” to get more marshmallows into my mouth!!!

Luckily, I have more in the kitchen… as pottery classes at Lillstreet have been cancelled for tonight & tomorrow morning due to the snowstorm!!!

Surprise delivery to the studio today! I had ordered them awhile ago… kinda forgot about them… and then they just showed up today!!! Sweet surprise just made my day a bit sweeter… and reinvigorated me for a longer productive evening in the studio than I had planned on!

What a difference a few years of experience & a few thousand pots can make!!! I remember making the large bowl on the right “back in the day” at the old Lillstreet location… it was the largest thing I had ever made!!! I was so excited to decorate the rim with colored slips… before I “found” stamps! Sure, it might weigh three or four times more than it should… has a very heavy & clunky bottom… and has a bit of a beginner’s ledge on the interior curve… but who cares when it’s filled with popcorn?! The one on the left is newer, decoratively stamped and weighs what it should with a much better footring, a perfectly smooth interior curve… and holds popcorn too!!!

Thanks Gerry & Rosene for the trip down Memory Lane!
