Well, apparently it’s garlic scape season!!! Yes, that weird little squiggly part that grows up amongst the leaves of a garlic plant is actually edible… and very garlicy! I was introduced to them last year… but it looks like Kristy in Stevens Point has just upped the game with this beautiful Garlic Scape Pesto & Pasta dinner!

Looks like a beautiful breakfast in the making in Stevens Point. Flowers from the garden, a beautiful fruit salad and plenty of pottery to serve in style! Remember, homemade food always tastes better in handmade pottery!

The perfect combination… beautiful homegrown blueberries & a handmade stamped & glazed bowl to hold them… and “frame” them perfectly! Thanks Jody for sharing your blueberry harvest with us!

Looks like another “Breakfast Of Champions” up in Stevens Point this morning. Powdered sugar goodness… and I can only hope that it was filled with chocolate too!!! Thanks for sharing Kristy!

So I threw this challenge out awhile back, but no Oreo-Ritz Combo treats have shown up??… until last night!!! Huge kudos to one of my students Kate who “took one for the team” and made her own version!!! And for the record… everybody LOVED them!!!

Upon further investigation, a few people have told me that they only made a thousand boxes of these combo treats. And someone found a box on EBAY for around $500!!! Yikes!!!… homemade worked for us!!! So now methinks I owe Kate a FREE MUG for “succeeding “ in the challenge ?!!!

You gotta love when one of your pottery students goes on vacation to Cabo San Lucas… and brings back a “souvenir” for you! Gracias mi estudiante Stacey!

I also had a sweet treat delivered by one of my Facebook Fans today! It was a great surprise when Melissa dropped it off this morning… always good to see her… even better when bearing gifts! So sweet… both she and the apricot bars!

Generally I don’t get much time for actual meals at an art fair… more like snacking throughout the day. But at the SCHAUMBURG PRAIRIE ARTS FESTIVAL they have food trucks nearby… and this ooey-gooey grilled cheese toasted goodness of a southwest sandwich “may” have been my lunch today. Burp…
