So after a wonderful first day of my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW… I did a little clean-up, made a little dinner & then settled in for a great night of binging THE TRAITORS!!! The newest season of the British version just dropped… and I’m totally IN… even though I only know like two of these “celebrities “?!

Restocking the shelves for Holiday Home Show Day Two can happen in morning, right???

And then top it off… my friend Pam brought me these Gingerbread OREOs…
all the way from London!!!

I will say that Gingerbread OREOs are one of all-time favorite flavors.
Easily in the Top Five!!! Let’s hope this English version keeps it in the Top Five too!!!

And then later in the day…
Ashley brought me this yummy, fluffy OREO trifle in a handmade oval.

I have just two words… “Thanks!”… and “burp!”

So today was the first day of my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW… and it started out to be a very “sweet” day!!! Especially when some of your customers bring you treats… like these special “festive” OREOs which I’ve never even seen before?! Red & green filling layered between character-stamped cookies!

And oh, but wait there’s more… the red crème filling actually shoes through cookies in just the right places… I mean… who doesn’t want a red-frosting-nosed-reindeer?! Thanks Diane & Jim!

We’re just a day a way form the start of my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!! I’ve been working so hard getting everything ready for this weekend. I can’t wait to have a bunch of friends, customers & pottery lovers stopping by my place for some holiday fun. Whether you’re doing some holiday shopping for friends… or for yourself… or just coming to hang-out on my sofa… we’re open both days from 10:00-6:00pm. I hope you can make it… and bring a bunch of friends!!!

Still setting up for this weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW… maybe you’ve heard of it???

Anyway… I was taken by these fantastic fire flashing marks on the bottom of some large oval vases. As the soda kiln fires & leaves soda-glaze deposits on the pots, some of it sneaks under the pots & leaves wonderful flashing marks. Like these where you can literally see the flame’s path between the wadding that was under the pots during the firing. So cool to see where the flames kissed the pots & left their marks!!! Ahhh… another beauty of soda-firing!!!

Who knew this was a thing?… today is NATIONAL GARY DAY!!! So it’s all about me?!… kinda. According to Google… “National Gary Day” is celebrated each year on November 20, and is a day to show appreciation for people named Gary in your life.

As a teacher and “self-proclaimed & unrequested life coach”… I’m always willing to tell you want you should be doing!!! Even if it’s just for my own entertainment! Kinda like today’s holiday… just a little extra FUN FOR ME!!! But trust me… it’s real thing!!!

A few more shots of this year’s collection of Holiday Mugs… just in time for this weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!! New stamped & soda-fired mugs with a string of Holiday Lights… as well as some mugs with Christmas Trees & star toppers… kinda like last year’s holiday mugs!
