Going a little tropical… with red anthurium & sago palm fronds in a stamped & soda-fire vase. I went with a square vase with a squiggly-scrolly pattern to complement the organic floral.

Celebrating a little Texture Tuesday with these great bi-color leaves. No idea what they are… most likely a weed… as they’re growing along the railroad tracks across from Lillstreet Art Center!

With barely a cloud in the sky, it was a very quiet morning along the lakefront.
Very still. Very serene. Very beautiful.

So apparently there is another Facebook account out there randomly posting other people’s work. And one of my faithful Facebook Followers let me know that she saw THIS on their Feed. Obviously, from my time in Alaska doing a workshop in Fairbanks last month. And yet… NO acknowledgement or credit given. Just my post STOLEN and posted as though it were their own. Stealing my content to fill their Facebook Feed. And the more I looked through their Feed… TONS of posted of other potters NEVER with any credit given!!! Not only unethical, but quite possible illegal too!!! We need to report them to Meta-Facebook, and then flood their Comments to help ALL potters who are being ripped off. A huge thank you Linda for letting me know with her keen eye… and another thank you to the rest of my amazing Followers who know what to do!!!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Barrington for ART IN THE BARN this weekend! It was so much for to see so many friendly faces & pottery lovers… all eager to add some handmade pottery to their collection! So good to see everyone… thanks for helping us celebrate the 50th Anniversary of ART IN THE BARN. Personally… I was celebrating my 18th year there always in the same double booth in the Lower Barn… and already looking forward to my 19th!!!

Looks like Kristy has cooked up another yummy dinner… a Moroccan stew with roasted eggplant & tomatoes. Looking even yummier in a handmade stamped bowl!!! Thanks for sharing Kristy!

With an ever-changing morning glow contrasted by The Centennial Wheel.

Creepy Clowns… the newest member of THE GHOULS COLLECTION. It’s a Limited Edition of forty… and when they’re gone, they’re gone!!! They’re all very similar, but each on has a different color combo & personality. It will be great fun to see how people analyze & pick their favorite this weekend at ART IN THE BARN!

The newest addition to THE GHOULS COLLECTION…
limited edition Creepy Clowns!!!
Coming out of the kiln… not so creepy, I think they’re pretty cute.
Vibrant colors with a smirky-toothy grin… half with hats, and half with flowers “squirting” water!! All coming out for ART IN THE BARN this weekend in Barrington!

Handmade pottery always makes the flowers look happier!!!
