Celebrating a fun & natural Texture Tuesday with these great globe thistle “flowers.” Thanks to my Cousin Kim, I now have a patch of these thistles growing right there on my city street corner!
Looks like it might be MULBERRY MONDAY?! Often overlooked… but these mulberries are always tasty! That is if you can pick them off the trees before the birds get after them… or even worse, they fall off and stain the sidewalks & car hoods with their purple juices!
It was a dark & moody start to the day… with a lot of sunrise potential. I was really hoping for some dramatic sunrise colors this morning… but instead I just got clouds. And I as I pedaled towards the City, you could see a bunch of dark rain clouds moving in!!! Abort!!!… turn around and pedal back FAST!!! Luckily, the rain seemed to stay south of the City and I made it home dry! Sweaty, but dry!
I realized it’s been awhile since I’ve shown off a loaded bisque kiln. So here’s the one I just loaded tonight… with more MUGS than I thought I had made?! I sort of love when you can get everything in… even if you need to turn things on their side to fit them “just-under” the lid!!!

Layer Four just “under-the-lid”…
with some oval vases turned on their sides so they would fit in!
Looks like a “Sunday-Sundae-Funday” for Rosene!!!
Tiny little white flowers… so delicately perched on top of tall stems. Dramatic white heliotrope flowers with such an intoxicating aroma. A beautiful accent to any garden!
It was a beautiful evening hanging outside, chatting & eating pizza… and not any ordinary pizza… but Max’d Out Mac & Cheese Pizza from Moretti’s! Picture a thin crust cheese pizza covered with mac & cheese, and then add bacon, jalapenos & barbeque sauce! Yum!!!
A little stamping fun inside this bowl. I’m totally diggin’ the cool pattern it created as I stamped it one-by-one-by-one into these cool pointed chevron patterns!
Love how the sun is illuminating these fern fronds from behind.
Making the color pop & the texture show-up even better!
Loving the larkspur that just started blooming in my garden this week! That beautiful purple color floating above feathery stems. And it looks like there are still a lot of blooms to come!!! The way these things have spread all over my garden… I’m sure they would be considered a “weed” if the flowers weren’t so pretty! HA!!!
