And it looks like I’m not the only one who has a happy orchid re-blooming! This one lives in Peoria and is re-blooming for the first time… and in a BIG way!!! It looks very happy in it’s little corner there… but I’m thinking it’s also about the flowerpot!!!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful orchid with us Gerry & Rosene… which they seriously “remembered” as being a white orchid, until it re-bloomed as yellow… as it always was a yellow orchid. HA!

While Spring flowers are popping outside, I have a bit of color re-blooming in my kitchen window as well. I’ve always heard that orchids are tough to re-bloom… second time during the pandemic… so these seem “quite happy” in their stamped & soda-fired flowerpot! They get very little attention from me… and they seem to be okay with that!!!

I woke to rain this morning… so no sunrise bike ride! But I did get a chance to see these beautiful azaleas blooming just down the street! With raindrops sprinkled here & there. Guess April Showers bring April flowers too?!

Did a little stamping tonight in the studio… four smaller bowls.
Simple… yet quite dramatic with that side lighting!!!

Just doing a little trimming project for my friend Mike. Refining & trimming the exterior of a fresh pinch pot form he’s using in his slip-cast mold-making class tonight at Lillstreet. A few refinements using my DiamondCore Trimming Tools to get the shape & smooth finish he was looking for!

While Spring flowers are starting outside, I still have my African violet plant blooming indoors… now with the BIGGEST flowers I’ve ever seen it have! This violet has been amazing… a gift from one of my customers that has NEVER stopped blooming in the past year and a half. Crazy, right?!

Doing a little work in the front yard garden beds cleaning out the dead leaves & garbage strewn about… and found another little crocus popping up! This might be the last one… hiding in a little corner of the yard!

Spring has sprung… with another beautiful sunrise morning. Loving this current “heat wave” we’re having here in Chicago. So nice for the early mornings to be so warm… no need for the extra layers! Let’s hope this lasts awhile!!!

And for those who “noticed” two t-shirts on the first photo with dye powder sprinkled on it… here’s the BIG REVEAL of t-shirt number two!!!

For the record… I’m diggin’ it more than the first one!!!
