Trimming & finishing some stuff today. Trying to get a bunch of stuff done in the studio. So much easier with my Bison Trimming Tools & Giffin Grip!!
Sure, the day may have been gray & gloomy… but it sure felt AMAZING to get outside to feel just a little “normal†during these tough times. And this bright & cheery mural on my way home was the perfect ending to a perfect run… err, walk-run combo?!
Rusted textures & patterns with an assortment of manhole covers through the neighborhood.
So the weather is still gray, gloomy & windy. Still not so pretty outside. But it was AMAZING to get outside for the afternoon for some fresh air. We haven’t been “locked down” for very long… and I already needed to GET OUT!!!
Another wonderful sculpture on the Loyola campus. More of that wonderful patina color & texture I love so much… plus cool angles & lines!
Architectural archways on the Loyola campus. Beautiful craftsmanship like they just don’t make anymore!
Rusty details… structure behind the rocks to help keep the lakefront in the same place. A little rusted anti-erosion plan!
Beautiful wrought iron details on one of the Loyola doorways. Love the scrolls, the flowers, the reflection in the windows and the beautiful patina! These are the entry doors to the Cudahy Library at Loyola University.
Enjoying some beautiful architectural details along the way… right in my own “backyard”… hard to get a good run in when you keep stopping for photos!!!
Another dark, gloomy & chilly-breezy day… but I just HAD TO get outdoors!!! Still social distancing… easier than expected as there was practically no one else out & about along the lakefront this afternoon. Gray clouds & crashing waves… trust me, no swimming for me!!!
