I’m in!!!
Enough of the Oreo’s…
this little winner of a melty-gooey-scrumptious-concoction might just take the cake!!!

Decadent? Maybe. Too sweet? Never. Too rich? No such thing.
Looks like a little slice of Heaven… or maybe dinner?!!! Who’s with me?…

Then a layer of marshmallows…
I of course would probably use the JUMBO ones… more is MORE, right?!

And then into the oven… until the marshmallows are toasted and the chocolate all gooey!

And dip with a graham cracker… what’s not to like?!!!

Click here for the video recipelooks easy enough!!!
Now I just need to find myself a frying pan with a handle that can go into the oven?!

Even as a cropped square photo…  BEAUTIFUL.

Wonderful colors & textures this evening at the Farmer’s Market.
Fresh foods. Great colors. And so glad that they’re finally open for the season!!!
A little bit of natural goodness to counter-act all those Oreo’s we’ve been eating…

Last night’s class demo was assembling a teapot. We threw the parts last week…
the body “cylinder”, the small bowl for a lid,  a pulled handle and a spout thrown off the hump.
Showing my Beginners how they already know how to make all of the parts.
Now they just need the confidence to “put it all together.”

Some beautiful blooms on my front porch this summer. I asked the garden “experts” what would be my best bet for a VERY shady porch situation. She suggested some “non-stop begonias.” I’m not sure if the “non-stop” part is just a marketing ploy… but I fell for it… and so far so good!!!

While all of the crab apple trees are done blooming,
there are a few remnants of Spring blooming here & there along the lakefront.
Like the horse chestnut trees and oak leaf hydrangeas.

This morning started with layers of pink. Wispy lines criss-crossing the sky.

As the sun continued to rise… the criss-cross lines opened up and switched
to a beautiful wash of white wisps across the blue sky.

The latest for us avid Oreo Addicts.
And a yummy treat for my pottery class tonight.
This what happens when two of my favorites COLLIDE!

Pretty tasty… although I do think a Double-Stuf version would be even tastier!!!…
and then if we could just squeeze some real marshmallow goo inside too?!…
now that would be PERFECTION!

Love when you find a random monster hanging out on the Student Show-Off Shelves
at Lillstreet. And the late afternoon lighting made it even better.
Scary & silly all at the same time!!!

The back staircase bricolage project is moving forward. Turns out it is the handiwork of Rochelle Borrett who is the Program Director for Lillstreet’s ArtReach Program. Methinks this will be a collaborative effort for a lot of ArtReach groups! Can’t wait to see it progress…
