Still prepping… still packing for the Hinsdale Fine Art Fair!!! Currently working on some new ikebana flower vases. A simple & clever way to display just a few flowers and yet make a sweet floral statement. There’s a water reservoir and a pin frog under the ceramic disc… kinda “framing” the flowers while allowing them to stand gracefully above the center!

Looks like Pam’s mom is having a great Mother’s Day… complete with her new ikebana flower vase that Pam picked up this weekend at the PLANT & POTTERY SALE! It was great to see my pal Pammy down in Peoria… but c’mon, how cute is her Mom???

Looks like Spring has sprung in Crystal Lake where my Cousin Kim has gathered a few flowers from her garden for her Easter centerpiece using one of my ikebana flower vases! So festive. So pretty!

Enjoying late afternoon flowers on the back porch. Vibrant & fragrant bee balm flowers & furry smoke bush clippings in a soda-fired ikebana vase… and a mini hosta in a handmade flower pot!

Celebrating another TEXTURE TUESDAY with this really cool wooden fence I saw on my bike ride today. Live the rustic part with flaking wood & mossy accents. But it was the really cool “almost ikebana” floral & bonsai-like growths coming through the fence that really sealed the deal. LOVED IT!!

Just bringing a little bit of Spring inside with just a few snips!
