t was very “still” along the lakefront today. No waves. No wind. And not a lot of people out… as it was still quite warm & sweaty!!! But with a skyshow like this?… STUNNING in its simple serenity!

In just a couple weeks I will be taking “my show on the road” and heading up to ALASKA to teach a two-day workshop! I’ve been invited up to Fairbanks, Alaska to share some of my pottery techniques, designs & processes with the Fairbanks Potter’s Guild. It will be an interactive & immersive workshop where participants get to make work & try out my techniques for themselves during the workshop! There are still a few openings available! After a string of dry heatwave days, I’m sure the hydrangeas
were much happier after yesterday’s sudden thunderstorm!

It was a very dark start for my morning ride. With a LOT of clouds covering the horizon… I was excited to se this little sliver of sunrise beauty when I made it over to the lakefront. I was kind of expecting “just clouds”… so this splash of color was a great moment with stunning reflections shimmering on the lake. And then the clouds moved in even more… welcome to my gray morning!
