Looks like Maryanna has been listening!!! Some newly carved mugs with colored slip backgrounds… using some great carving tools from DiamondCore Tools. Good to know my mantra is stuck in a few people’s heads!!! Ha!!!

Quiet & still this morning along the lakefront with some dappled clouds covering the sky. Good potential to color the sky… but it never really happened. Instead we got some cool shrouded sunrise photos with the sun playing hide & seek behind the clouds!

More than ten pieces thrown before 10:00am.
This time it was continuing with the “ Christmas In July” theme…
with a bunch of wheelthrown ornaments!

My Monday night class has been focused on “enclosed forms” lately. So we combined that with a little Christmas in July!!!… and Halloween too, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it?!!!

Another stunning sunrise morning. A little cooler with a lot less humidity… it was so pleasant pedaling this morning! Lots of clouds doing cool things on the horizon.

And once again… a sunrise skyshow this huge
needs a “huge-er” panoramic photo to show it off!!!

Another crazy-cool skyshow this morning!!! The humidity was a bit out of control… literally dripping with sweaty after just minutes of riding!!! But once your drenched… you can’t get “more’ drenched, right? And it was well worth it… as the sunrise was SPECTACULAR today!!!

It was another productive week at Summer Camp. I had younger 8-10 year olds for Wheelthrowing & Handbuilding Camp. That’s a lot to accomplish in just five days. I two great groups of kids & they ROCKED it!!!

And while the skyshow was happening over the lake, the City skyline
was punctuated with a few puffs of clouds easing through.

I couldn’t decide which panoramic photo was better… so here’s another one!
You choose…
